The Hostal Rural Ioar offers a number of general facilities such as a cyber-library, installed on the ground floor in what was formerly the bread-making oven and wine-press. A calm and peaceful place which is ideal area for reading or browsing the Internet (free WIFI connection and charge card).
There are two bathrooms for general use close by, one is disabled friendly.
The Palatial House entrance hall itself is a place of relaxation and tranquillity, featuring a pouffe, benches and a chest.
The spacious cellar is ideally suited as a lounge, bathed in natural daylight from windows looking onto the gardened patio. There is also an impressive stone fireplace.
There is also a kitchen (for preparing food) and a small bar.
This area of the Palatial House is the one that has been changed the most, being formerly the stables for domestic animals.
The cellar leads out onto the patio, where guests can enjoy an appetiser, surrounded by aromatic plants.
Board games are available.
Breakfast:
A buffet style breakfast is offered, whilst there is also the possibility of preparing a breakfast to order, when a booking for the whole house is made.
Evening meal:
Although we do not actually have a restaurant, we can offer guests an evening meal service for a pleasant end to the day. Salads, healthy mixed platters, and sandwiches can be accompanied with an excellent Navarre wine or any other drink from our bar.
Guests are requested to order this service before 3 pm.
Bar service:
For those socialising and relaxing moments, guests can enjoy a drink at our bar or in our gardened patio. There is also the possibility of hiring the bar service.
Pilgrim and racing circuit pick-up service:
If you dial the following numbers (fixed and mobile phones) with at least two hours notice, we will pick you up from Los Arcos at no extra charge, so that you can enjoy staying at our Palatial House.
Mountain-bike hire service:
We have bikes available for hire so that you can enjoy the fantastic local trails; all you have to do is decide on the difficulty of the route.
